"My Silent Night" Musical in Salzburg
On the 24th of November 2018, a new musical titled “My Silent Night” will debut in the Salzburg Felsenreitschule, bringing a touch of Broadway to Austria. Andreas Gergen, who has previously directed “The Sound of Music” and “Monty Python’s Spamalot”, is set to direct a script by Hannah Friedman.
“I don’t want to tell Austrians about their traditions – well, I couldn’t, even if I wanted to. But there are some universal themes that are relevant anywhere, like striking a balance between tradition and innovation or the power of having a vision in life.”
Hannah Friedman, scriptwriter of “My Silent Night”
